Delivery & Returns

DELIVERY


All UK orders are sent by 1st Class Royal Mail Tracked. All delivery charges will be clearly displayed on the “Basket” page prior to Checking out and making payment.

What Will it Cost?
Our combs can be sent as a Royal Mail 1st class Large Letter which costs just £1.99
2 combs can also be sent as a Royal Mail 1st class Tracked Large Letter which costs £2.99
All other orders will be sent as a Royal Mail 1st class Tacked small parcel and cost £3.99.
For any particularly large orders weighing over 1kg, these will be sent as a Royal Mail 1st class Tracked medium parcel and cost £4.99. All shipping prices are clearly displayed on the Basket page.

 

BFPO
We deliver to any BFPO address. Just type BFPO instead of a postcode.

Overseas Orders 
We use The Royal Mail International Tracked service for a fast and reliable service for all overseas orders. Postage cost will be calculated and shown on the basket page.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES CHARGES FOR OVERSEAS ORDERS: If you purchase goods from us for delivery to a destination outside the United Kingdom your purchase may be subject to import duties and taxes applied by the destination country. These charges are outside of our control and you are responsible for paying any such duties or taxes. We are not responsible for the payment of any such duties or taxes and are not liable for any failure by you to pay them. To find out what duties or taxes you might have to pay you can visit the customs or trade tariff page on the government website of your destination country.

How Long Will It Take To Reach Me

Under normal circumstances, all orders received up to 2pm will be processed and despatched the same day. Orders received after this time will be processed and despatched the following working day. All UK orders are sent by 1st Class Tracked Royal Mail, so should be received within 1-2 business days.

Please note we cannot guarantee delivery times once they have been dispatched from us, as they may occasionally take longer to reach you due to postal strikes or circumstances beyond our control. 

 

Bank/Public Holidays  
Please remember to add on a day to your expected delivery time during Bank Holiday periods. For example, orders received on a Bank Holiday Monday will not be processed and despatched until the Tuesday of the same week.

Out of Stock Orders 
It is very rare that we are out of stock, however, if this should arise we will notify you by email. 
Any items on your order that are out of stock will be sent separately at no additional cost to you as soon as they are back in stock.

Damaged Goods
Orders leave us in perfect condition, however in the unlikely event that your order is received damaged or faulty

Right to cancel your order

The UK's Consumer Protection Regulations allow you to cancel your contract within 14 days from receipt of goods.

To cancel your contract please notify us at mums@nittygritty.co.uk with the order number and your instruction to cancel, or call us on 020 7229 7775. If your order has already been despatched, you must then return the relevant items sealed and in all original packaging to our address below.

 

Please note: we do not cover the cost of returning goods, this will be at your own expense, and your original postage cost will also not be refunded.

Once we have received the goods we will issue the refund within 14 days. â€‹

​

Please make sure you have contacted us by email and heard back from us before returning any goods. And remember to include your own name, address and order number with any goods you are returning.
